Medical Wig Services
Professional in-person education for professionals working with hair replacement systems.
This specialist training programme is designed for professionals who want to develop advanced practical skills in hair replacement, from consultation and system selection through to attachment, cutting, blending and ongoing maintenance.
Products will be provided for use during the Medical Wigs course, but learners will need to bring their own tools and equipment, and no take-home kit is included.

MEET MATTHEW MCILVEEN
Working as a Hairdresser since 2010, Matthew has built his experience across salons in Northern Ireland, the fashion industry, and specialist medical hair loss services for those Living with Alopecia and undergoing Chemotherapy treatment.
Now Lead Educator with Chapter VI Academy, Matthew specialises in medical hair loss and men’s hair systems, combining technical expertise with a considered, client-led approach to hair replacement. He continues to work directly with clients, keeping his education grounded in current practice and real-world experience.
Matthew brings a relaxed, real-world approach to both clients and education, helping to make specialist hair replacement less intimidating and giving professionals the confidence to translate their training into everyday practice.

Will I get an official certification?

Yes. All participants who attend the full training course and pass the assessments will be awards an official professional training certificate that is CPD Accredited.

We offer payment in full or pay by deposit up to 1 month before the scheduled training date. When selecting Pay by Deposit you will pay part fees immediately and the remainder will be arranged through our Education team. They will be in contact within 48 hours of your confirmation.

Yes, upon completion we offer 1 year's advice and support. We also have Chapter VI PRO accounts for salons and barbers with access trade pricing and exclusive products after signing in. If you are a registered business or sole trader, you can apply for a Pro Account here. A Pro account will be offered to all participants on the course, provided they meet the registration criteria.
